(Trying to) dance the night away

A hip hop song that I do not recognize comes on, and a wave of people heads to the dance floor. Lights flash, bodies grind and sway, group of friends dance together in tight circles. It's the closest thing to clubbing that Lynchburg has to offer.

The club has the disc jockeys, the bands, the dance floor, but it's also got an outdoor, tree-lined spot on the water where people can lounge with the bar's signature rum punch on deck chairs before the dancing flames of a fire pit.
