I just can’t seem to get my head around them.
Clubs such as the Cordeliers, Jacobins, Feuillants etc.

Around what date did each of them begin?
Who was involved in them and what impact did they have on the revolution?
When did they stop meeting?
Also which clubs were divisions of other clubs?

Cheers.

  1. An Historian Says:

The Cordillera were led by Danton, after it came into conflict with the Jacobins wanted a middle class and moderate development of the revolution.
The Jacobins, led by Robespierre create terror. They wanted an outcome of the Revolution with the victory of the people.
    The Feuillants were moderate.
